The BidX Triple Risk Reversal
BidX backs every engagement with three commitments: a five-day Technical Concept guarantee, a full refund if no suitable route exists, and no Success Fee unless you receive grant cash.
# | Commitment | In short |
|---|---|---|
1 | Technical Concept (Narrative) in five business days | Missed for reasons within BidX's control → full refund of the professional fee on request |
2 | No suitable route: full refund | No route worth progressing → BidX stops and refunds the professional fee in full |
3 | No grant cash: no Success Fee | The 2.5% Success Fee is only payable once your company receives grant funding |
Technical Concept five-day guarantee
Once BidX has the information needed, it will put your Technical Concept (Narrative) in writing within five business days of kick-off. If BidX misses that deadline for reasons within its control, you can request a full refund of your professional fee.
No suitable route: full refund
If BidX's initial review cannot identify a funding route it reasonably considers worth progressing within the agreed scope, BidX stops before communicating the Technical Concept (Narrative) or materially developing the application. Your professional fee is then refunded in full.
Success Fee
The standard Success Fee is 2.5% of grant funding awarded through a qualifying BidX application. You do not pay it until your company actually receives grant funding. If no grant cash is received, no Success Fee is due.
Fixed Success Fee buyout
For an individual application, you can agree an upfront buyout before submission instead of the standard Success Fee. Unless otherwise agreed, the buyout is 1% of the grant amount sought.
Why BidX doesn't work on a no-win, no-fee basis
The strategy, project shaping, writing and professional review all happen before the funder decides, so the professional fee covers that work. The performance element is the Success Fee, which is only payable when grant funding is received.
