What's Included in Your First Application

Your first application is a writer-led deliverable prepared specifically for the funding competition agreed with you at kick-off. Here's what's typically included:

- Confirmation of the specific competition/call you're applying to.

- The application sections BidX prepares on your behalf (this is confirmed with you at kick-off and set out in your application brief).

- Two consolidated rounds of revision based on your feedback.

- A final, submission-ready draft incorporating your comments.

What's expected from you:

- Providing accurate background information about your business, technology, and finances.

- Reviewing drafts within the agreed feedback windows.

- Final review, approval, and submission of the application to the funding portal (see our article on submission responsibility).

If your project changes competition, or needs a substantially different application, we'll always confirm with you first whether this falls inside your existing engagement or is treated as additional work, you won't be surprised by scope changes.
