How the Success Fee Is Calculated

If your package includes a success fee, it is charged only on funding that results from an application BidX materially prepared or supported. Here's how it generally works:

- The fee is calculated against your company's own awarded/funded allocation, not against funding awarded to consortium partners or subcontractors.

- The fee rate and any cap (if applicable) will be set out clearly in your contract schedule.

- Timing of invoicing relative to when you receive your grant funds will also be set out in your agreement, ask your account contact to confirm this in writing if it isn't clear.

- VAT treatment (inclusive/exclusive, and any overseas reverse-charge treatment) will be shown separately.

If you're ever unsure whether a specific award triggers a success fee under your agreement (for example, a resubmission, or an application you largely wrote yourself), ask before assuming either way, we'll confirm the answer in writing.
